Career Services Spotlight
Mid-Quarter Evaluations
I know you’ve been working hard the last four weeks and that this time of the quarter can be stressful. On top of everything else in your life, you’re studying for midterm exams and working on mid-quarter projects.
As the Dean of Faculty, I really want to encourage you to stay in contact with your instructors. They are there to help and want to see you succeed!
Mid-quarter is also a time for you to provide feedback on the courses you’re taking. Please take a minute this week to complete the Mid-Quarter Evaluation in each of your courses. These evaluations are your voice and we greatly value what you have to say! Your feedback is totally anonymous, so please use this opportunity to let us know how things are going. By sharing your thoughts, we are better able to serve you, the student.
Keep up the good work and have a great week!
Kelly Schmidt
Dean of Faculty

Succeed in class with student tutoring!
Student tutoring is available as a free service for any course. We highly recommend it to students who want to take control of their learning environment and master classroom concepts right from the beginning.
Please follow the instructions below to access a Tutor Request form. When you have completed it please e-mail it to the Online Associate Dean of Students, John Birkland, at jbirkland@msbcollege.edu and he will begin searching for your tutor.
To request a tutor, visit the student website and click on "Tutor Request Form".
The tutor with whom he will match you will have a proven track record of success. Tutors are only matched with students for classes in which they have previously earned either an A or a B. They are available to assist you up to one hour per week via either telephone or e-mail. They will be able to help answer your general questions, and will also assist you to gain insight into concepts presented in class.
