Grades Available December 24th


Fall Quarter grades will be available through the student portal on December 24th at 6pm.

Grades will not be mailed out.

To access your grades log into the student portal, click Academics > View My Grades > Filter Grades by Term.

Winter Quarter Begins on January 5th, 2009!


If you plan to purchase your winter quarter textbooks from the Virtual Bookstore, remember to place your order as soon as possible.

Select rush delivery to receive your books before the quarter begins on Monday, January 5th.

Remember, if you earned perfect attendance in your fall quarter classes, you must order your books using your Voucher ID to receive the 20% discount on your winter textbooks.

Thank you!


Thank you to everyone who wrote a note of support last week for a soldier overseas!

We were able to collect nearly 100 messages written by Globe Education Network staff, faculty and students. The notes are accompanying 100 care packages which will be sent to our troops in time for the holidays.

MSB Policy of the Week


Beginning on January 5th, 2009, the following attendance policy update will go into effect.

Students who miss two consecutive weeks in one or more course(s) will be administratively withdrawn from the course(s). This change in credits may have an effect on the students' financial arrangements for the quarter. If you wish to discuss this further, please follow up with your academic or financial aid advisor.

How can you help?

  • Send your short message of appreciation to our troops to be included in the care packages by midnight December 10, 2008 to the email below.

  • E-mail your personal messages to John Birkland at jbirkland@globeuniversity.edu by midnight December 10, 2008 for inclusion in the care packages. Please keep messages to 50 words or less. Messages may be signed with first name and your city/state or may be anonymous.

MSB Policy of the Week


Credit may be awarded for demonstrated proficiency in a subject.

Advanced-standing tests may be requested and arranged through the education department and must be taken before the beginning of the quarter that course would be required. Not all courses will have an advanced-standing test.

Have you already registered for winter quarter? If so, the bookstore is now open for you to purchase your books!

By ordering your books online, you ensure that you are receiving the correct books for your classes. To order, simply log into the online bookstore using your voucher ID or call 1-800-325-3252 to order over the phone. Before finalizing your order, take a moment to verify that all information is correct.

Remember, if you earn perfect attendance in your fall classes, the perfect attendance discount will only be applied to winter quarter textbooks purchased using your voucher ID.
